Public Relations

Smile: it makes everyone wonder what you're up to. -unknown. That means that with a simple smile you've gained their attention! Keep your words few, and choose them wisely. Be cheerful, positive, and always have an optimistic reply even if it's 'off the wall'. It's a means towards the end of which you will gain their trust, appreciation because they will learn you always 'keep your face towards the sun' -Helen Keller, and that means you are a success so long as you never give up.

Never give up. My life long struggle until I learned that if I didn't the answer was LITERALLY just around the bend. After that I found out never giving up was simple. Not always easy, but anything worth keeping, having is never easy.

Smile. Never Give Up. It is Worth it All.

Boxing Day Special

When I was a little girl I thought Boxing day was named like that because either a person drank or ate too much and they felt like they were being attacked by their bodies. Now that I'm all growed up and love to learn I decided this morning I should research 'boxing day's' origin. Feel free to stop by later on in the New Year to find out what I have learned with a special bonus: my personal opinions included.

Today businesses' have their Boxing Day sales, specials, discounts, prizes, contests and people flock to them eagerly. To some it's a perfected game, others love a great sale, and yet others love just to see how much money they can save. It's not my speed since I don't like shopping: awesome deals or not, and WAY too many people flooding through the shops leaving it behind looking like a tsunami hit the place. The staff are not always able to keep it looking like nobody was there yet. I have over 10 years of customer service experience in varying areas of expertise. Boxing Day in my opinion was a day to learn a little personal discipline. Always do something everyday that you despise or don't like doing. It's a wonderful exercise in learning business.

Home based businesses have more of a privilege in choosing their customers, but others don't, and personally since business will always be business it's better for home based businesses to take on the same perspective. If you are selling shovels, the customer buying it shouldn't be of concern to you even if you don't like his personal habits. He needs a shovel. Help him get one. And don't say anything derogatory to your fellow workers. Remember: you are an example to your fellow co-workers, and what you do they will imitate. Home based business owners selling candles can pick their audience. They don't have to speak to everyone. Some HBB's teach speaking to everyone in a 3feet of themselves where ever they go. Imagine what that would be like. Constantly talking, handing out business cards, etc. No fear would be a necessity for you would hear a lot of 'no's', and would be speaking to a lot of strangers. This is all fine, good, but think about you. How would you feel if you experienced, saw someone doing that? All humans have basically the same emotions, same response feelings. If you wouldn't want someone to do it to you than you would be better off not trying it out on others. A business owner is responsible for his own actions. It's up to him to use unique ways to help him stand out from the crowd. Use methods that create an appreciation for what you do for your customers so that they keep coming back and not something that turns others off.

Treat your customers with respect, appreciation, and a little TLC and keep it REAL!

Good Luck with Boxing Day Sales:) There's a little more room for you because we are not there! Enjoy:)

Happy Holidays!

It's the end of the year and taxes are on the brain. Paperwork, numbers, getting everything done before the deadline goes rushing by like someone blowing an airhorn. Take a little time. Breathe. Relax. Give yourself a break. Think about someone else and do them a favor. Touch someone elses life. Help someone else towards being independent, dreams come true, or goals achieved! It will help you maintain your focus, keep your sanity this season!

Best wishes in the New Year! May it be a successful year ahead:)

Internet Income Info

Making money on the internet was one crazy dream of mine for 10 years now. I searched, researched and found a lot of info on what not to do. I spent over 1000$ as well searching, but as we all know a person doesn't become a millionaire saving his pennies. He spends the pennies. Just recently I found a gold mine, and things are definitely looking up. I didn't spend time thinking about 'what if's'. What if I gave up the last time I found something possibly worth checking out? No. I just took it started 'playing'!

Internet Income for any business-minded folk interested in making money is more than a gold mine, but internet courtesy is just as important as it is in the real world. Communication, honesty, integrity, and stability are mandatory for long term success. Haste makes waste. -unknown. Stand up, focus on your goals, and learn the ability to say no to anything in your way.

The biggest lesson I learned was how to take a negative lesson: what I call 'learning what not to do', making it a positive lesson and finding out what I can do! After all making money isn't that difficult. Build positive personal development skills and you go far! For example: to build duplication a person needs consistent discipline. Always have a schedule and stick to it. You see? Personal and business development are based on the same foundations. What makes those two different is marketing the product. If it's personal it doesn't need marketing. Business needs the marketing. It has product, merchandise, and produce that needs to exchanged for money. The question is how to do it in a successful manner? How do you do it and maintain your relationships with customers so they keep coming back? They find disrespect, lack of courtesy, or even lack of honest listening and you may loose your best customer.

Help your customers in any area of life, and build a solid honest relationship. They will give it back to you. It's human instinct. Guide them into understanding your product. Show them how to use it by using it. Show them a little generosity and give them a sample. Give more than you receive. And you will sell your product!

Think Bigger than BIG with Internet Income, and paint a picture with simplicity, honesty, and integrity.

Positive, Creative Leadership Skills

Some people have been cocooned and coddled all their life and than tossed out into the big world without any experience, knowledge, or advice. The concept of leadership is unknown. Others never had anyone to coddle or cocoon them and are 'street-wise' beyond their age because all they were doing is trying to survive. It's called Instinct. And all they know is leadership skills, but have no idea that's what it's called.
Everyone has a story. Everyone has a reason, and Everyone is still responsible for their own choices and decisions in life no matter what has happened to them. It doesn't mean you can't be young at heart anymore. 'Can't' isn't a word in my vocabulary. A person will and can do and does do whatever he chooses to. But. Every decision creates an action and therefore consequences or 'effects' are set into place. What kind of consequences are you choosing to have? Create positive thoughts and you have positive actions, and therefore positive consequences.
In the end it's all about knowing how to lead yourself. If you can lead yourself others will naturally follow. Learn to listen to yourself, but don't follow. You set the rules because you are looking for a certain outcome. Don't mind fear. It is the weakest and most cowardly of emotions. Pay attention. It will literally save your life. Focus. Ignore distractions that don't help you attain your goals/outcome. Always keep moving. Forward. Positive (and only positive) changes. Watch your dreams unfold. Be careful when you get pushy. It's like word itself. When you push something it doesn't come closer. It goes away. And like the scientific equation: what goes in one direction also goes in the other direction with equal force. Start acting how you want others to act. It will create a domino effect.
Lead using you. Create a positive difference. Everyone is needed for this campaign! Everyone has a place! Together we can make a difference, and like always teamwork divides the work and multiplies the success! Your Leadership of your own being has just exploded into insane proportions! (Just don't let it go to your head or you will loose it all).
Good luck on your Personal Challenge!
